Brock University is bucking a provincial trending of slumping enrolment by breaking records.
More than 5,000 students started school on Wednesday, with a total fall enrolment expected to top 19,100 students.
That marks the largest number in the school's 54 year history.
Meanwhile on a provincial level, domestic numbers are actually tracking down 1% since 2017.
International students are still being drawn to Ontario's post-secondary education facilities in huge numbers, but Brock's numbers are three times the average.
Around 900 new international grad and undergrad students from 68 countries have intentions to come to Brock, representing a 50% spike from last year's intake.
