After being forced to resign in the face of allegations of sexual misconduct, Patrick Brown wants his old job back.
Brown was in Mississauga yesterday where he kicked off his campaign for Ontario's P-C party leader.
He told a crowd of supporters he is grateful he has been able to clear his name, adding holes put in his accuser's stories last week, prove they were factually impossible.
He adds he took two lie detector tests which he passed.
Brown says he will continue with a civil suit against CTV News, which first reported the accusations levelled against him by two women.
CTV stands by its report.
Brown is convinced the people of Ontario are behind him adding that has helped to give him his strength back.
He told supporters his People's Guarantee is the party's path to victory on June 7th.
As for questions about party membership raised after interim party leader Vic Fedelli said the party has 67,000 fewer members than the 200,000 Brown claimed in early January, Brown insists he helped grow the party to unprecedented levels, regardless of specific numbers.
