Memorials on the Burgoyne Bridge are set to be removed this weekend.
Photos and messages of hope started being placed on the bridge after a number of people died by suicide.
Niagara Region Public Health has spoken with the families of the deceased, and have agreed to move them.
Public Health says that they're worried that the memorials will cause suicide contagion.
They're also worried that they are commemorating death, rather than the lives of those lost.
They will be relocated to Start Me Up Niagara as part of their Art Me Up Niagara installation.
There is already a memorial for those who've died by suicide at the Glenridge Quarry, and the Region is looking to make that one more permanent.
