The planned full closure of the Burgoyne Bridge in St. Catharines has been delayed.
The region advising the closure that was set for today is now slated to begin on Thursday December 8th and will last for 10 days.
The bridge will re-open on December 18th.
The closure is required so crews can complete the installation of the cable supports for the structural arch on the bridge.
And unlike the previous closure, this time the full closure affects both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Detours will be posted and the Region says a pedestrian detour is still being worked out.
