A busy weekend for search and rescue crews on Niagara's two great lakes.
Five people were pulled from Lake Ontario about 30 metres off shore from Geneva Street in St. Catharines when their sailboat overturned Saturday afternoon.
Another three were pulled from Lake Erie, west of Port Colborne Saturday after their boat capsized.
None of the boaters suffered serious injury.
However, the search continues on the U-S side of Lake Ontario after three kayakers from Pennsylvania were reported missing yesterday evening.
Niagara County officials say the lake got pretty choppy and family members called police after the three young men failed to return or check in.
Rescue crews were unable to search the lake by helicopter because of last night's storm.
