Can-View Drive-In in Fonthill tentatively plans to reopen tomorrow.
In a message, posted to their facebook page the drive-in theatre says they've been given a set of operating rules by the province and have been working to find some wiggle room.
Their operating restrictions are vehicles must park 2 meters apart, all persons in the vehicle must be from the same household, customers can only leave the vehicle to attend the washroom.
As well, there will be no open hatches, convertible tops and no pick-up truck bed viewing.
No food or drink can be sold on the premises and staff interactions with customers must be limited to admission sales.
Can-View says the rules are temporary and may not last for long at all.
The Ford government gave theatres the green-light to reopen two weeks ago, and most have taken their time trying to figure out how to make it work under the current restrictions handed down by the province.
