It's the long weekend and border delays are top of mind for many, especially with the American long weekend coming next weekend.
A report earlier this week indicated border security officers are being diverted from across Canada to help with an anticipated spike in the number of asylum seekers crossing irregularly into Quebec.
However, Spokesperson Pamela Minten at Canda Border Services says the agency never compromises one area to serve another.
Minten advises Niagara residents, who have many options for crossing to check the can-border app to see what the wait times are before heading to a particular crossing.
