Calgary speedskater Ted-Jen Bloemen has taken gold in the men's 10,000 metres at the Winter Olympics.
Bloemen posted an Olympic-record time of twelve minutes 39.77 seconds.
It's Bloemen's second medal of the Games after taking silver in the 5,000 metres beind Sven Kramer of the Netherlands on Tuesday.
And Canada has earned its second Olympic luge medal, finishing second in the team relay.
The team consisting of Alex Gough, Sam Edney, Tristan Walker and Justin Snith raced to silver in a time of two minutes 24.872 seconds.
Earlier, Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford won bronze in pairs figure skating.
