Transportation Minister Marc Garneau says the forty-one 7-37 Max 8 aircrafts in Canada will not be grounded.
Transport Canada confirms that they have not grounded the planes that are operated by carriers in this country.
Garneau says when an accident like the Ethiopian crash occurs, "it's important not to jump to conclusions".
The government is working hard to get to the bottom of the crash that killed 157 people, including 18 Canadians, says Garneau.
Among those 18 Canadians that were killed are a family of six from Toronto.
