Another hall of fame has been created to honour Canadians.
The Canadian Entertainment Hall of Fame has been formed and its first induction ceremony will be held in Niagara.
Those eligible for election to the Hall of Fame must be born in Canada, raised in Canada or have performed here enough to leave a lasting and significant impact on Canadians to be recognized as a national icon.
This year’s inductees will be announced in April at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Niagara-On-The-Lake.
The Canadian Entertainment Hall of Fame was founded by business executive and Chairman Bruce Prentice.
Prentice has been the driving force, and founder, of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Ontario Sports Hall of Fame.
