A Canadian man is admitting to bringing more than two pounds of cocaine over the Rainbow Bridge.
40 year old Carlos M. Perez-Medina from BC told a Niagara County Court that he had 33.69 ounces of cocaine in the trunk of his car last December when he was pulled over on First Street in Niagara Falls, New York. Police dogs discovered the drug after the cops stopped the car.
According to the Buffalo News Perez-Medina accepted a pre-indictment plea offer to fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He faces a maximum of 5 and a half years in prison.
