A Canadian sports doctor who helped big-name athletes come back from injuries hasn't commented yet after being convicted of professional misconduct in a years-old offence.
The decision against Dr. Anthony Galea, whose clients included golfer Tiger Woods, stems from his conviction in the United States for importing unapproved and mislabelled drugs.
Ontario's medical regulatory body says Galea engaged in an act or omission that would reasonably be regarded by members as disgraceful, dishonourable, or unprofessional.
His lawyer, Brian Greenspan, says his client has legions of devoted patients and hundreds, if not thousands, of letters of support.
