Thousands filed into H.H. Knoll Park to catch musical performances by David Wilcox, Finger Eleven and I Mother Earth, among others.
Organizers are now turning their attention to next year, as a major overhaul of the yearly celebration could be in the cards.
The mayor, councilors and city’s economic development office are looking for a ways to make Canal Days turn a profit.
According to the Standard the city recently laid out plans to either scale back spending, or conversely, increase spending to expand the yearly celebration and generate more revenue.
Also on the table is simply leaving Canal Days as is.
In the interest of covering some costs this year, the price of beer was increased for the nighttime concerts.
