There's another chapter in the controversial reign of Niagara's CAO and this one involves hidden documents.
The St. Catharines Standard's Grant LaFleche reporting that Carmen D'Angelo and a former human resources director deliberately hid contract amendments for senior officials in 2017 according to court documents.
LaFleche says he has uncovered a statement of defence filed in court showing D'Angelo and Peter Wadsworth hid contracts for three senior staff, including Wadsworth's, in a breach of regional policies.
The allegations have not been proven in court.
Carter and Tamming are both suing the Region for wrongful dismissal.
