A new study may provide more fuel to the time change debate.
Researchers in the U.S. have found there is a six percent increase in the number of fatal car crashes in the week after we spring forward.
The researchers looked at more than 700,000 fatal car accidents between 1996 and 2017.
They found the collisions were more likely to happen in the morning hours.
The study is the largest of its kind to date on daylight savings time and motor vehicle accidents.
This year we switch to daylight savings time on March 8th.
