Anti-carbon tax stickers will likely be on gas pumps across the province in time for the Labour Day long weekend.
The provincial government is proposing to set August 30th as the date that gas stations have to display their stickers.
The proposal says the government is also developing enforcement plans, which could include an education campaign, written warnings, compliance orders and unspecified Provincial Offences Act charges.
The Ontario Chamber of Commerce has said its members are concerned about the ``political nature'' of the stickers.
