A case of measles has been confirmed in Toronto and officials say others may have been exposed to the virus.
Toronto Public Health is investigating the case of travel-related measles in an unvaccinated baby who recently returned to Canada.
Health officials say the infant arrived back with its family from a trip abroad and the parents sought medical care for the baby at two doctor's offices and a Toronto hospital's emergency department.
Those visits potentially exposed staff and patients in those locations to the disease.
Possible exposure areas include:
Scarborough Health Network, Birchmount site, Feb. 28 between 5 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
Huntingdale Medical Centre the same day between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., or between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Feb. 26.
If symptoms develop, the individual should call before going to a health clinic to prevent possible exposure to others.
