Rescue efforts continue at an abandoned property in Beamsville, the home of a now long gone cat hoarder.
The property on Merritt Road, became known as a cat drop off site, because the tenant took in unwanted felines.
But that tenant left months ago, and now there are still catsĀ roaming the property, unfed and uncared for.
Members of Beamsville4Paw Rescue have already rescued up to 70 cats, 50 of whom are pregnant.
Rescue workers estimate there will likely be another 150 cats that need homes when those 50 give birth.
The Lincoln County Humane Society is investigating, and has been going out daily to provide food and water to the abandoned felines.
