And the winner is ``La La Land'', actually, make that ``Moonlight.''
There was a chaotic moment at the Academy Awards last night when the wrong film was announced as the Oscar winner for best picture.
Presenter Warren Beatty says he paused before announcing the winner because the envelope read Emma Stone, ``La La Land,'' who had just won the Oscar for best actress moments earlier.
Then actress Faye Dunaway chided Beatty for taking so long and read out ``La La Land'' as the winner.
The acceptance speeches had already begun, when the correction was made to ``Moonlight.''
Other winners at last night's Academy Awards show included Casey Affleck, who won best actor for his role in ``Manchester by the Sea.''
Best supporting acting honours went to Mahershala Ali for ``Moonlight'' and Viola Davis for ``Fences.''
