More details into a complaint against Marineland that led the OSPCA to lay five charges of animal cruelty against the Niagara Falls park.
Canadian Press is reporting the charges stem from a complaint filed by the California based group, Last Chance for Animals.
C-P obtained a copy of the 35 page complaint that alleges there has been a highly unusual number of land animal deaths at the park.
The OSPCA laid the five charges November 25th for alleged cruelty againstĀ the parks black bears, guinea hen and a peacock
But the complaint also includes allegations of improper medical care for several deer as well.
In a statement, Marineland officials have denied the charges and say they will vigorously defend themselves in court.
