Check your policy you may have a date when you have to get your winter tires back on your car

Here is something you should know about that winter tire discount on your auto insurance.

Turns out, depending on your policy, you may have to get your tires put on by a certain date, or if you get into an accident and you're at fault, you could lose the discount, get less for damages or see your rate go up.

Pete Karageorgos with the Insurance Bureau of Canada says again it depends on your insurance policy, but if you were supposed to have winter tires on as of November 1st, you should have had them on by then.
