It's going to be a big year for the Chorus Niagara Children's Choir.
Artistic Director and Chamber Choir Conductor Amanda Nelli says they will be heading on their first big trip to a prestigious competition in Montreal.
About 80 children are involved in the program, with a smaller group of 18 comprising the chamber choir that's travelling to Quebec for the big competition.
Nelli says the bar will be set very high in Montreal, that's why the chamber choir is practicing 2.5 hours per week.
Organizers are expecting some new faces this year along with the return of some familiar ones.
Nelli says if your child is interested in joining you must register before September 4th.
An open house will be held of September 18th to meet the staff and find out more about what the Choir is all about.
