Niagara Falls city council getting a shock last night when a report revealed it will cost $22 million to upgrade the city's drainage system.
Council hired Aquafor Beech Limited to look into ways to improve the system in light of flooding complaints by residents across the city.
If the recommendations are adopted improvements would be spread out over the next 10 years.
The report will be posted on the city's website to give residents a chance to review and comment on the plan.
