Rotating mail strikes are starting to impact Niagara, and the City of St. Catharines is advising residents not to send any time sensitive information through the mail system.

The City is suggesting residents avoid sending anything in the mail until after the threats of postal disruptions have passed.
Residents with questions or looking for more information about City services and payments during the labour disruption can contact Citizens First at 905-688-5600.
The City of Port Colborne is also offering similar advice.
They're advising residents to pick up their bills from City Hall
Residents can pick up their bills from City Hall (66 Charlotte Street), or request electronically.
The municipality does offer e billing.

Everyone is required to make their payments to the City on time, including property tax payments, water/wastewater bill payments, parking ticket payments and recreational service payments, even if they have not received notice via mail.
Late payments will be subject to penalties such as interest.
