St. Catharines residents can pick up a free tree this weekend.
The City is hosting a tree giveaway on Saturday June 2nd from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre.
Each household is limited to one tree, and residents will be asked to prove they live in the city.
The tree varieties include American Sweetgum, Bitternut Hickory, Eastern Rosebud, and Tulip trees.
Rain barrels will also be on sale at $40 each.
