A new study of climate change projects that heat waves in Europe could kill up to 150,000 people each year by 2100.
The study looked at the impact of the seven most dangerous types of weather related events -- heat waves, cold snaps, wildfires, droughts, river and coastal floods, and windstorms across the European Union.
Scientists discovered rates of exposure to these disasters are projected to increase from one-in-20 of the population at the start of the century, to two-in-three people near its end
