The Canadian National Institute for the Blind is looking for your old smartphones.
Officials with the CNIB have launched 'Phone It Forward', a program using donated smartphones to empower people who are blind or partially sighted.
The phones will be completely wiped before new accessible smartphone apps are downloaded onto the device.
Users will also be given technical training, discounted maintenance, and data plan support.
The president of the CNIB says if they could get their hands on just 10% of decommissioned smartphones, they could get one for every single blind or partially sighted Canadian.
