The College Student Alliance have a rally planned for Wednesday afternoon outside the legislature to put pressure on the province to kickstart contract talks.
CSA President Joel Willett says although a college semester has never been lost because of a faculty strike, students are increasingly concerned about this becoming a reality.
Last week, government officials said they would not intervene in the strike, preferring instead to let the bargaining process play out.
