A concerned group of citizens is planning to gather together to call for action after two deaths at the Burgoyne Bridge in less than a week.
A Facebook event called Stand Up For Mental Health in Ontario invites community members to the Burgoyne Bridge on Sunday night at 7 p.m. to stage what organizers callĀ 'a peaceful protest' calling for more free resources and a new mental health plan in the province.
A candlelight vigil will be held from 7 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. to remember all who have ended their lives at the bridge.
Organizers encourage anyone interested in taking part to join them at the memorial gardens by the bridge starting at 6 p.m.
If you, or someone you know is in crisis, call 911.
