St. Catharines City Council has struck a committee to review applications for a citizen appointment to the board of directors at the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority.
Councillors Bruce Williamson, Greg Miller and Carlos Garcia will review the 32 applications the city received and make a recommendation to council at a later date.
Niagara Falls City Council also set to talk about the NPCA tonight.
23 people answered the call for applications in that city, however the staff report included in tonight`s agenda says no action is required at this time.
The report highlights Regional Council's move to appoint an interim board for a 3 month period until it is determined how to proceed with the boards composition.
It remains unclear just when we'll have some clarity on that composition issue as the staff at the NPCA have not responded to repeated requests for information.
