A Niagara-on-the-Lake town councillor is resigning.
Council received a resignation letter from Councillor Stuart McCormack yesterday afternoon.
He will be stepping away from all council related duties after 19 months in office.
Lord Mayor Betty Disero praises him as conscientious and hardworking and wishes him well in the future.
A report will be coming before council at a later meeting to go over the options to fill the vacancy.
