It's not known how many, if any, of the regional councillors named in a legal battle will show up in a Welland court tomorrow.
The court will hear a notice of motion filed by St. Catharines Councillor Andy Petrowski and Fort Erie resident Fred Bracken trying to stop the region's integrity commissioner from disclosing a final report on three complaints filed against Petrowski.
The pair are also asking the court to stop the commissioner from accepting or receiving any further code of conduct complaints.
In the notice of motion, the two argue the region's code of conduct violates Petrowski's rights under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Petrowski contends a release of the final report on the trio of complaints, would cause irreparable harm to his reputation and his livelihood.
The motion names 24 of the 31 regional councillors as respondants in the complaint.
