Niagara's new courthouse is coming in on time and apparently on budget.
The provincial offences courthouse being built on East Main Street in Welland is nearing completion, with project manager for Niagara Region Nicole Menard telling Post Media the interior is '90% done.'
The exterior has already been completed and crews are now working on the parking lot.
Although the official opening won't be until midway through the Fall, work on the building itself is expected to wrap up by the end of the month.
The project was given a $12.4 million budget.
