It appears the fourth wave of the pandemic has officially hit Niagara as case numbers spike over the weekend.
40 new cases were announced on Saturday and Sunday, compared to 5 cases last weekend.
Four outbreaks are being tracked by Niagara Public Health.
Two people are being treated in hospital in Niagara, including one in the ICU.
No new deaths have been announced.
