Niagara's first COVID-19 assessment centre opens this afternoon.
The centre at the Greater Niagara General Site in Niagara Falls will provide screening, assessment, and testing for people with symptoms of the virus.
Residents must be referred to the centre by Public Health. Walk-ins will not be permitted.
The assessment centre opens at 1 p.m. today in the Allied Health building at 5673 North Street, Niagara Falls.
A second assessment centre should open in St. Catharines next week.
