The City of Thorold is also partially activating the Emergency Operations Centre and closing some community spaces.
As of 4:30 p.m. this afternoon Thorold Community Arena, the Thorold Public Library, Ontario Paper Thorold Seniors Centre, Lock 7 Viewing Centre (including the museum), the Darlene Ryan Port Robinson Community Centre, and the Allanburg Community Centre will be closed until April 6th.
City Hall, Operations Centre, and the cemetery will be open for business as usual.
All public meetings, including the city council meeting on March 24th and the Thorold Sports Runway of Recognition Gala Awards Ceremony, are being postponed.
