A heartbroken widow is speaking out after health officials confirmed Ontario's second COVID-19 related death.
Teri Cunnington spoke to CTV News, saying her husband Sean was a kind, loving, genuine person.
Sean was 51 years old and although he wasn't on any medication, he did have a form of chronic leukaemia.
"In the beginning it was mostly flu-like and then he developed night-sweats and just an overall very unwell feeling. And then he developed a cough."
Teri stells CTV News Sean was wasn't tested the first time he went to hospital because he had not travelled internationally or had contact with any known cases of the virus.
He was admitted to a Milton hospital five days after the initial visit.
The father of three died on Wednesday ten hours before his test results came back positive.
Teri urges everyone to stay home, saying, "Anyone can catch this disease."
