The YMCA of Niagara has announced they will close their Health, Fitness and Aquatics centres until April 6th.
The facilities and recreation centres in Niagara Falls, Grimsby, St Catharines, Port Colborne, and Welland are all closed for the same amount of time.
In a release, YMCA of Niagara and Oakville CEO Kyle Barber says the decision will also allow their employees to take care of their families while schools and childcare are closed.
When they re-open they will review members' accounts and adjust their next payment to reflect a credit for the period of closure.
To our valued members and community, Today, we have decided to close our Health, Fitness and Aquatics centres until April 6 inclusively. These are extraordinary times and we thank you for your patience. For full details, please visit https://t.co/qvq9zyvupA #COVID19 pic.twitter.com/PvTiMsEIjN
