A 23-year-old woman is facing six counts of mischief after she climbed a towering construction crane in downtown Toronto early yesterday.
The woman was lowered to the group, with her rescuer, following a riveting two-hour operation.
Police say Marisa Lazo will appear in court today to answer to the charges.
How and why the woman scaled the crane remains a mystery.
Meanwhile, a friend is identifying her as a Niagara local, from Crystal Beach
Samantha Burgers says they met while working at a Tim Hortons in Fort Erie after high school.
Burgers describes Lazo as active, adventurous, gets bored easily always wants to learn something new--guitar, sailing, hiking, and believes she may have climbed the crane to see if she could.
