Critical injuries following a serious crash on the QEW in Niagara Falls.
It happened just after 2pm this afternoon in the Fort Erie bound lanes at Sodom Road.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says the crash involved a transport truck and a car.
There were two passengers in the car, both suffered injuries.
The most critical was airlifted to an out of town hospital, the other was sent to local hospital.
The crash closed the highway in both directions between Lyon's Creek and Sodom Road.
Schmidt says the Toronto bound lanes have since re-opened.
The driver of the transport truck was not hurt in the crash.
Accident reconstruction teams are now on scene.
The Fort Erie bound lanes remain closed at Lyon's Creek and an estimated re-opening time is not known.
