The Niagara IceDogs are without a head coach.
Dave Bell has accepted an assistant coaching job with the Los Angeles Kings’ farm team, the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, for the upcoming hockey season.
Bell signed a three-year extension with the Ice Dogs in April.
He came to the Niagara OHL team in 2013-14 after a season with the Sudbury Wolves, and served as an assistant under Marty Williamson until becoming head coach last season.
Billy Burke and Kris Sparre remain as assistant coaches.
