Boats are back in the water this morning looking for 34-year-old Craig Lehner.
Just before 1 p.m. Friday, authorities in the U.S. were notified an officer conducting a training exercise with the recovery unit for the police force was missing.
The Fort Erie Fire Department arrived on the scene to assist and had two rescue boats in the water with four firefighters aboard each
The Niagara Regional Police Service also assisted with the search.
On Saturday, sophisticated sonar technology from the New York Police Department was brought in to help in the search.
Today, divers are resuming the search for Lehner further north near International Rail Bridge.
