Yesterday Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland noted the two countries are working on a deal to increase cross border traffic.
Bonnie Henry says she can see allowances to allow cross border families to visit one another but she has concerns about opening the border to visitors.

Ford says he was adamant he does not want the border to reopen.
