Over a thousand people have signed a petition demanding Facebook shut down a page to raise money for a killer's defence fund.
The page, which was created by an anonymous friend, is entitled, "Help raise money for Dellen Millard's defence."
Millard is serving time for the murders of Tim Bosma of Ancaster and Laura Babcock of Toronto.
He is now set to stand trial for the murder of his father Wayne, and according to a report in the Hamilton Spectator, wants to hire a pricey lawyer to defend him.
The unknown creator of the page writes on it "Some of the greatest men in history were greatly reviled and persecuted, until time showed otherwise. Like Jesus of Nazareth and all the other saints and martyrs, Dellen's time will come. We can only hope it's sooner rather than later."
The petition demanding Facebook shut down the page can be found on change.org.
