The OPP are out with numbers from the force's March break distracted driving blitz.
Police say they nabbed a number of drivers on their cellphones during the seven day campaign.
In total OPP laid just over 15 hundred distracted driving charges, along with another 51 distraction related careless driving charges.
So far this year provincial police have laid over two thousand distracted driving charges, which carry fines of up to one thousand dollars, three demerit points and a three day licence suspension.
