The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA is looking for information after a dog was found dead in a bin.
Passerbys discovered the bin Monday night.
The bin was a blue Sterilite 30 gallon container, and completely sealed with duct tape.
Inside, the body was on a sleeping bag alongside a round stainless steel bowl and a low plastic take out type container.
There was no evidence of a collar, tag, or microchip on the dog, and he was a white and brown pit bull type dog that hadn't been neutered.
The body was in a severe state of emaciation when it was found.
