Dog left out in the cold is doing well

Hamilton police say a dog that was seized from a backyard during the extreme cold this week is doing well. 

Officers were called to a Hamilton Mountain home on Tuesday night after reports of a dog barking.  

Both police and animal services received calls about the dog. 

Officers arrived and found no one at home and removed what was believed to be a golden retriever. 

The dog was not hurt.
