A second member of the IceDogs sees his NHL dream become a reality as Ben Jones is drafted by the Vegas Golden Knights. Jones was chosen in the 7th round, 189th overall by the expansion Golden Knights in the NHL entry draft.
A playmaking center, Jones had his IceDogs role increase from OHL rookie to top six forward. His 50 point 2016-2017 OHL season saw his goal total increase to 13.
Ben Jones matured quickly as a second year IceDog during the past season.
