Akil Thomas picked up three assists in a losing effort as the IceDogs dropped an 8-3 decision to visiting Kingston Sunday afternoon. The IceDogs remain two points behind Barrie in the hunt for first in the OHL's Central Division.

The power-play marker was assisted by Thomas and Elijah Roberts at 6:15. Kingston would again respond with three unanswered on 14th shots to the end the period up 6-1.
In the third, Kirill Maksimov scored his 25th of the year at 4:43 from Thomas and Ben Jones, who extended his point and assist streak to 11 games. Less than a minute later. Matt Philip's 11th from Thomas cut the lead to 3. Once again, a pair of Kingston goals closed out the scoring. Final shots total, Kingston 34-IceDogs 33.
