Don't be surprised if you see low flying planes and marine rescue boats out on the water this weekend in Niagara.
On both Saturday and Sunday emergency officials will be practicing training drills and preparing for water rescues.
A number of agencies will be taking part including the Royal Canadian Air Force, Transport and Search and Rescue Squadron, Coast Guard, and Civil Air Search and Rescue Association.
The Grimsby Auxiliary Search and Rescue Unit will be onsite Sunday.
Gord Tessier with the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association tells CKTB this is an annual exercise and residents will hear a lot of noise on both Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.
He says you may see a low flying Hercules aircraft with lots of smoke coming out the back, or a red and yellow Griffin helicopter.
When it comes to his top safety tip, Tessier urges residents to wear a bright coloured life jacket while on the water.
